Naming / Verbal Brand Identity
Hearsay is nestled inside The Matthews House, a historic home turned wedding and event venue in Cary, NC. The home was built in 1915 by lumber magnate Joseph Cephus Matthews. A little book called “The Secret Garden” was published in the same era, and we drew inspiration from the novel’s original artwork and theme.
We needed a name and system of messaging that mirrored the mystery, invitation, and coziness of your own secret garden, tucked away behind the gate: Hearsay.
Logo / Visual Identity
We crafted an elegant and inviting visual identity for Hearsay, designing a logo that captures the bar’s essence as a hidden oasis where guests can unwind and enjoy meaningful conversations.
Collateral
We extended Hearsay’s brand through thoughtfully designed collateral, including menus and other print materials, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience that reflects the bar’s unique atmosphere at every touchpoint.
